This nice HOTel is based in an amazing building and has a lobby restaurant. The units are sumptuous, gorgeous with free champagne and a view of the old abbey and bathroom. The restaurant serves hot local food.

Magnificent location in a beautiful area near the leisure centre and general ground maintenance, a gorgeous Bistro in town called Regans Bistro where the food and service was excellent and those on reception.

Received an excellent room upgrade free of charge, staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and grounds immaculate and peaceful considering the location.
Evening menu very limited in both the starters and main course, not to our personal taste.

The rooms are a good size, but in need of modernisation and improvement - cracked tiles in bathroom, small double bed - all looked very cheap. Needs huge investment in the hotel. Gardens were nice.
Food not great, rooms not up to standard, bar too expensive, in serious need ot huge investment - will not be recommending to friends.

perfect for walkers with beautiful parks and landmarks nearby
I loved taking a few steps to visit Roscommon Abbey and strolling around the gardens nearby during my weekend stay, as the atmosphere was vibrant and inviting. Exploring the fine Roscommon Castle was also a highlight. As a single traveler, I appreciated the reception staff's excellent service and a nice bar area to unwind after my walks.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only problem when we went in to the bar to get a drink the bar person seemed to ignore us and everybody else. Even though there was nobody waiting to be served (except myself) it took 11 minutes to get a drink.

The Lady on reception was very helpful when dealing with our complaint on checkout and showed great customer service skills.
The air conditioner in our room started making intermittent loud noises throughout the night from about 1 am onwards. The room was too warm reading 24 deg even when the AC was on at 19 deg. Could not sleep with noise and heat,
